Hello! We’re Sharina and Rich - the first members of the Failing Artist Club (who also happen to be brother and sister).

It all started as a joke, freecamping in outback Aus somewhere. We were brainstorming how to be creative but not have to be successful. Just arty. No briefs, no clients.

We haven’t quite quit our day jobs yet but after 2 years of procrastinating, many passive aggressive/just aggressive texts from Sharina to Rich, fake deadlines, a lot of encouragement… here we are. It's a win for unproductive people everywhere!

Please buy our art. We might even be able to keep this up.

SUPPORTING PARTNERS RELIEF & DEVELOPMENT

BUILDING SUSTAINABLE SCHOOLS

In conflict-affected eastern Myanmar, if communities can’t pay teachers a fair wage, schools simply shut down and the poverty cycle continues. So Partners have been working with local leaders to establish community-owned and operated businesses that fund local schools. Sustainably.

The Sustainable Schools project provides support and start-up costs for community-owned and run businesses to fund their local schools. It's all about empowering local communities to educate their own children through employing teachers and, eventually, funding their own ongoing school supplies. Once each school is sustainably established, capital is raised and used to start another school in a different remote community. To date, 130 schools and 15,000 students have been supported through this project.

10% of every FAC sale goes to the ongoing education of kids being raised in the remote villages of war-torn Myanmar.
